My story

I’ve always been passionate about nutrition and wellness, but my own experience with hormonal imbalances has shaped the work I do today.

Like many women I support, I’ve faced challenges, from migraines and other hormonal symptoms in my teens and twenties, where the only solution offered was the contraceptive pill, to navigating the ups and downs of perimenopause. These experiences have deepened my understanding and drive my commitment to helping women regain balance, energy, and confidence in their bodies.

Outside of work, I live in Cheshire, South Manchester. I’m married with two children and love spending time outdoors, especially walking my dog. I also enjoy growing my own food, from microgreens and chillies to tomatoes and flowers. Cooking and baking are a big part of my life, I love baking sourdough bread, healthier cakes, and making fermented foods like sauerkraut, kefir and kombucha.

An avid reader of both fiction and non-fiction, I believe in lifelong learning, whether it’s keeping up with the latest nutrition research or trying new skills. For me, good health is about balance, enjoyment, and nourishing both body and mind.

What can a nutritionist help with?

A nutritionist can help with a range of issues, including intimate health, weight management, digestive health, hormone imbalances, managing chronic conditions like PCOS or Endometriosis, and improving overall energy and wellbeing. They provide personalised advice based on your unique health needs.

Do I need a referral to see a nutritionist?

No referral is needed. You can book directly with a nutritionist to start improving your health at any time.

What’s the difference between a nutritionist and a dietitian?

Both offer advice on diet and health, but dietitians work in clinical settings and are regulated by law. Nutritionists focus on personalised, holistic approaches and are often experts in lifestyle and functional medicine.

What should I expect in my first consultation?

Your first session will include a detailed discussion about your health history, lifestyle, and goals. Your nutritionist will provide initial recommendations and outline a personalised plan tailored to your needs.

Do you offer personalised meal plans?

Yes! Meal plans are tailored to your goals, preferences, and any dietary requirements or allergies, with easy recipes to fit your lifestyle.

Can you help with hormone-related issues like PCOS or menopause?

Absolutely. I specialise in hormonal health and can help manage symptoms like weight gain, cravings, and low energy through targeted nutrition and lifestyle changes.

Are online consultations as effective as in-person ones?

Yes, online consultations are just as effective. They offer convenience and flexibility, with the same level of personalisation and support.

Do you provide support with weight loss medications like Ozempic?

Yes, I offer guidance on managing nutrition during and after using medications like Ozempic to support sustainable weight loss and long-term health.

Can I book one-off sessions, or do I need a programme?

Both options are available. While programmes provide ongoing support for lasting results, one-off sessions are perfect for addressing specific concerns or getting a quick health reset.

How do I know if I need functional health testing?

If you experience unresolved symptoms like recurrent UTI's or vaginal infections like thrush, digestive issues, or hormonal imbalances, testing can provide insights to create a more targeted plan. Your nutritionist will guide you on whether testing is right for you.
